Can you move gym equipment to another state?
Yes, we can. We offer long-distance relocations and can handle moving all types of heavy items, including gym equipment.
What tools do you use to ensure that heavy-items are moved safely?
First, we’ll protect the walls and floors. Then, we’ll use bubble wrap, tape, and other tools to protect any parts of the furniture that are sharp and secure any doors and hanging or loose parts (doors, drawers, fridge shelves). Our crew will use dollies, moving blankets, straps, and furniture sliders to safely remove the furniture, load it into the truck, and transport it to a new location.
How can I prepare the appliances for the move?
If transporting fridge or freezer, ensure you empty it out before the move and unplug it at least 24h before the move so you can defrost and clean it. As for washers, like dryers, washing machines and dishwashers, you have to unplug them, drain them and disconnect them. It’s also good to ensure that all parts are secured for the transport (like the drum of the washing machine). Our team can help unplug, disconnect and secure all your appliances.
How can I move a dresser down the stairs?
First, you should empty out the dresser so it’s easier to move and so that the hinges don’t get damaged by the stuff inside. Then use the tape and bubble wrap to protect the legs and secure the drawers so they don’t open. If you don’t have furniture sliders, use carpets or carboard to protect the floors so they don’t get damaged. Using the moving blankets, dollies or moving straps, try to slowly move the dresser down stairs. Moving a dresser down the stairs requires help and proper equipment and it can still be dangerous. We can ensure that your dresser gets moved without anyone getting hurt or anything getting damaged in the process.
Do you charge extra to disassemble larger furniture?
No, we don’t. Disassembly and assembly are both included in our full-moving service. Moreover, there are no additional costs.
